and lots and lots of 944's, about 10 911 GT3 road cars, maybe 15-20 GT3 cup cars (991, 997 and 996), a couple of the old twin turbo GT2 cars, heaps and heaps of older 911's, a 996 RSR and a 918. And a 935. And some other stuff too. Tomorrow, there’s going to be a record attempt for the most Porsches ever in one place in the country. I hear estimates over 1000, so that should be fun to fit on one racetrack at once.
Also present were Formula 5000 (the biggest gathering in the world is in NZ and these blokes race for real, no trying to look after your one off race car here), Historic Sports Sedans, European Racing Series, Historic Formula Junior and Sports Cars.

I’m not going to make it this year - other stuff on. Not too upset, I’m not a big Porsche fan. I’d have liked to see the LMP1 car though.
I am disappointed to have missed the F5000s - they’re amazing. Did you see last years festival where they threw a 90s Ferrari F1 car into the grid with them AND IT DIDNT WIN!?

I haven’t had a chance to wander the pits but I have seen Earl Bamber and Brendon Hartley floating around.

I do remember that well. Those f5000 blokes are totally mental with how they drive. Also, it was an 80's turbo F1 car.
